Keeping consistent with his understated brand of quiet excellence, Tim Duncan absolutely nailed the $20 limit on a Secret Santa gift for teammate Kyle Anderson.

“So, I think he must have noticed that I always have a hard time sleeping on the team plane,” said Anderson. “He put together a little travel kit for me with a comfy neck pillow, an eyemask, and some melatonin. Normally, we don’t even sit near each other on flights, so I’m not sure how he noticed.”

Duncan had neatly wrapped the gift and accompanied it with a handmade card with a single pressed flower on the front. Inside the card was a simple but sweet note from Duncan, revealing himself to be the Secret Santa and wishing Anderson a happy holiday.

“Crafting is a great way to add a special touch to any gift,” said Duncan, who is known for his attention to detail on and off the court. “And just as boxing out is essential to rebounding, a personal touch is fundamental to successful gift giving.”

Duncan completed his domination of Secret Santa by graciously accepting a $20 Starbucks giftcard from Lamarcus Aldridge.
