Not content to cruise to another championship season, Warriors coach Steve Kerr challenged his first-place team to watch the entire season of Netflix’s Fuller House.
“Good teams win games, but great teams fight through pain and agony,” said Kerr. “And since we’ve slaughtered everyone, I figured this would be a nice way to manufacture the adversity we need.”
Players were seen cringing at the canned laughter and outdated strings of references to the original series, Full House.
“I forgot what it feels like to feel… what’s the word… bad? Is bad right?” said Warriors forward Draymond Green.
“Yeah, watching John Stamos say ‘have mercy’ at age 52 as the studio audience shrieks with delight is the TV equivalent of seeing 30 shots in a row clang in and out,” lamented Warriors guard Stephen Curry. “I think we’re ready to face the Thunder now.”
