There were drinks shared, stories told, and hamstrings pulled at the Injured Reserve HQ, as old pals Tony Romo, Robert Griffin III, and Keenan Allen reunited yet again.
“It’s good to be home, boys,” Romo said while pouring Griffin a glass of scotch, before spilling said scotch and creating a puddle on which Allen would later slip, fall, and tear his other ACL.
Griffin then proposed a toast and gave an emotional speech on the meaning of true friendship and resilience, causing Romo to break down in tears, which created a puddle on which Allen would later slip and somehow tear a third ACL.
Despite Allen’s unfortunate and completely avoidable injuries, Griffin and Romo managed to enjoy the rest of their evening with a friendly game of darts. And hoo boy, you do not want to know what those darts did to Keenan Allen.
