With nearly one million people turning up to celebrate the Cavaliers’ NBA championship, Cleveland’s newest athletic transplant, Robert Griffin III can’t believe that no one has been asking for his autograph.

While many fans arrived to the parade route in the wee hours of the morning, no one got there earlier than Robert Griffin III, sporting his brand new Browns jersey and enough black sharpies to last an entire day of autograph signing. But, the felt tip pens saw no action.

Parade goers have reported seeing RGIII signing his name onto shirts of unsuspecting Cavs fans, and then jogging away.

“I have no regrets,” said Griffin III, “Except showing up at this parade. And, maybe signing with Cleveland. Also, most of my career up to this point. But, that’s it.”

We can't play sports*, but we can make jokes about them!
