The newly released Madden NFL 17 comes with ‘cheat codes’ that allow gamers to unlock players’ Twitter accounts, experts say.
The cheat codes bring a new dimension to EA Sports’ popular game, letting fans experience the reality of life in the NFL, authoring players’ ill-advised Tweets and navigating through the resulting controversies.
“We’re always looking for new ways to make the game more realistic and Tweeting seemed like the natural next step,” the Madden NFL 17 website said.
The Twitter cheat codes reportedly allow game-players to apologize for the offensive tweet, hire a PR crisis management team, and give a comparatively tiny portion of your salary to a related charity.
EA officials refused to comment on rumored existence of cheat codes allowing game players to “accidentally” publicly post a dick pic.
