NBA geeksketball players Brook and Robin Lopez have reportedly called out sick for their games today and for the rest of 2015 after several marathon viewings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The twin basketnerds attended the 7:00 pm, 10:00 pm, 2:00 am, 5:15 am, 8:00 am, and 11:10 am showings at the Magic Johnson Theater in Harlem, NY. Their plan reportedly was to take a nap, and then attend their regularly scheduled practices in separate New York burroughs, but instead they said screw that and attended the 1:45pm and 4:00 pm showings as well.

Brook dressed as Jabba the Hutt for the first three showings, before changing into a Qui-Gon Jinn costume for the later events. Robin, meanwhile, opted for tumbling down the street as BB-8, tolerating the exceedingly cramped conditions purely because of how totally awesome he knew he looked.

Robin then gave his spoiler-free review of the movie on his personal Facebook page, by writing 60,000 exclamation points and nothing else. Knicks coach Derek Fisher and Nets coach Lionel Hollins both noted that they hoped their players would return to their respective teams soon so that they could shove the Lopez’s in their lockers for being “big-ass sky dorks.”

We can't play sports*, but we can make jokes about them!
