The Players’ Tribune Editorial Director Kobe Bryant has been delighted by the copy editing skills of newly-appointed Players’ Tribune Deputy Publisher Kevin Durant.

“I knew he would be a terrific addition to the team, but his meticulous grammar and English language usage talents are a huge bonus to our daily Trib news meetings,” Bryant said, as he left the Players’ Tribune microfiche room at 7AM to get to practice for the Los Angeles Lakers. “It really frees me up to coordinate the schedules of our amazing freelancing team, the part of this job that I really prefer.”

Senior Editor Danica Patrick echoed Bryant’s sentiments, noting that proofreading long thinkpieces before and after racing at 200 miles per hour was taxing, and she was glad to have that responsibility off her restrictor plate.
