After thinking things couldn’t get any worse for him, Eli Manning was dealt another blow this morning when the Giants announced they would be starting Eli’s brother Cooper at quarterback this weekend.

Originally the Giants had planned to start Geno Smith at quarterback after deciding to bench Eli, but when rumors reached the coaching staff that Eli’s older brother who hadn’t played football in over twenty years was available, they immediately offered him the starting job.

When asked about the decision Eli Manning looked up to the sky and shouted, “Et tu, Cooper?”

Unfortunately for the Giants, no one within the organization actually spoke to Cooper Manning to confirm his interest in playing, of which there is none.
