No. 1 draft pick Jared Goff is taking seriously his role as the new face of the Rams, working hard on his confessional interviews in advance of the team’s training camp appearance on HBO’s Hard Knocks.

Team sources say Goff has been doing “all the right things”—diligently practicing his “to-camera monologues”, his “mic’d up pep talks”, and his “light hearted sideline banter.”

“He knows he can’t just walk in and expect to be the lead of an HBO unscripted series, he has to earn that,” said one official in the Rams front office. “It’s just what you want to see in a young kid.”

Rams teammates said they were impressed to see Goff staying after practice to develop some benign personality quirks that could serve as mid-episode comedic relief.
