Frustrated after his historically poor performance, Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick attempted to toss his jersey into the team laundry hamper, which Chiefs safety Eric Berry picked off and returned for a touchdown.

Fitzpatrick had been warned by Jets scouts to watch for disguised coverages even after the game, but Eric Berry was able to easily make the interception on the errant toss.

“I don’t know why [Berry] was in our locker room,” deadpanned Jets coach Todd Bowles. “He should not have been in our locker room.”

Asked how he plans to move past the embarrassing loss, Fitzpatrick threw out several helpful suggestions, all of which were intercepted by Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters.
