A week after the NFL draft, Cowboys officials reported seeing owner Jerry Jones and top pick Ezekiel Elliott walking around team facilities in matching crop-tops.
The 73-year-old Jones has also been seen wearing midriff-bearing shirts in owners meetings, in an apparent sign of solidarity with his new running back, who is known for showing off his toned mid-section.
“Crop tops, crop tees, sports bras—I’ve always loved midriff-bearing shirts,” Jones said. “Secondarily, I also want Ezekiel to know he’s welcome here for a long time. If your star running back needs to walk around looking like Olivia Newton-John, you’ve got to support him.”
When asked about Jones’ new attire, Elliott said he was glad to have his owner’s support but admitted that “no one wants to see that.”
