Say what you will about Cubs super-fan Steve Bartman, but he is one lucky fella – the fan community of his favorite team has come together to buy him an all-inclusive, seven-week tropical vacation, starting today!

“But, the Cubs are back in the postseason, and I want to see them win the World Series,” Bartman said while being ushered through security at Chicago O’Hare International Airport. “Do you think they have TVs in Aruba?”

Though Bartman will be free to roam the tiny nation, these same charitable Cubs fans have made arrangements with the Aruban consulate to ensure that he will be stripped of his passport immediately upon arrival. After all, they wouldn’t want ole Steve getting antsy and missing out on all the fun that the remote island 2,288 miles from Chicago has to offer!

It gets better: these same Cubs fans even sent a pamphlet to Bartman’s hotel room, which outlines all the fun activities one can do in Aruba that aren’t flying back to Chicago to go to a Cubs game.

We can't play sports*, but we can make jokes about them!
