After throwing a costly interception in a defeat, Kirk Cousins entered the locker room instinctively shouting his catch phrase “You like that?!” Many of his teammates quietly stood up, shook their heads, and replied “No.”

“I mean, no, we didn’t like that,” said Washington receiver Pierre Garcon after the game. “I don’t mind him saying that if he’s pumped up after a big win. But after a loss that was mostly his fault, it doesn’t really land.”

Washington coaches plan on going over film with Cousins to confirm what they do like. When reviewing his touchdown pass, coaches told Cousins “we like that!” When showing his interception in the red zone, coaches told Cousins “we don’t like that!”

“A lot of us want Colt McCoy in there instead,” said Garcon. “He protects the ball, shows great leadership in the huddle, and actually gives us a chance to win.”

“Now THAT we like.”

We can't play sports*, but we can make jokes about them!
