It’s that time of the year again, when NCAA basketball commentator Charles Barkley begins his meticulous research of all 68 teams involved in the March Madness Tournament from 4pm to approximately 4:20pm.
“As a player, I was all about being mentally and physically prepared for every game, and I’m the same exact way as an announcer,” Barkley said. “Now, which one’s Villanova again? Oregon’s main rival, right?”
Barkley was seen with his preparation team, analyzing a small pile of flashcards with key terms such as “Buddy Hield” and “ACC” and “in the bonus” written on them.
As the marathon session neared its tenth minute, Barkley gave everyone a long break, during which they watched NBA basketball and sighed with relief. “Feels good, watching actual basketball,” Barkley was overheard saying to a staff member.
