Antonio Brown provided some deeper meaning to his touchdown dances, which have earned him two excessive celebration penalties so far this season, stating “I’ll hump the air until there’s justice in America.”

Until now, many around the NFL believed Brown’s humping and thrusting was simply a show of celebration, and not the thoughtful, civil rights protest it is now known to be.

The clarification now puts NFL officials in a sensitive predicament where penalizing Brown could be seen as being insensitive to the growing outcry for racial justice in America.

“If my humps can make just one person in this country wake up and say ‘whoa, people are people,’ well then dammit I’m going to hump every chance I get,” said Brown.

We can't play sports*, but we can make jokes about them!
