ABC, in agreement with the NBA, announced that the television network will begin showing reruns of the Golden State Warriors matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder instead of the remaining NBA Finals games.

Representatives for ABC indicated that even while knowing the outcome, more people would tune in to watch a rerun of the fierce battle between the Warriors and Thunder than another blowout in the Finals.

“While we thoroughly respect the Cleveland Cavaliers, this series is already way too difficult to watch,” said NBA Commissioner Adam Silver. “The Warriors-Thunder game was tough to watch, as well, but in an awesome way.”

Chief of ABC Entertainment Channing Dungey commented, “For now we will be showing Warriors-Thunder games in place of the Warriors-Cavs games three and four, and of course games five and six if necessary.” Dungey then burst out with laughter, ending the press conference.
